Mrs. Mabel KaiserFuneral services for Mrs. Mabel Kaiser, RR 1, Brandon, were held Thursday, April 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist church in Brandon. The Rev. John Cornish officiated at the services. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery.Mrs. Kaiser, 75, died at thePeople's Memorial hospital extended care unit in Independence onTuesday, April 7, at 1:15 a.m. She was a long time Buchanan county resident, a member of the Brandon Methodist church and the Brandon Rebekahs.She was born Oct. 1, 1894 at Corydon, Ind. the daughter of Louis A. and Eva Harper Rogge. On Oct. 20, 1920 at Independence she married Cato L. Kaiser.Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Roberts (Katheryn)Shaffer, Brandon; Mrs. Glenn (Velda) Garrelts, Springfield, 111.; Mrs. Clarence (Pauline) Smith, Hazleton; 13 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1968, three sisters and five brothers.Pallbearers were William Lueb-bers, Clarence Cannon, Harold Dodge, Ed Fratzke, Lloyd Dage and Harold Smith. The White Funeral home of Independence was in charge of arrangements.
