Mrs. Hancock will receive a $25.00 check from the Chamber of Commerce. The presentation will be made this week by Kenneth Morgan, chairman of the merchants committee. An excellent response came from the area, and the job of selecting the winner wasn’t easy -- there were some excellent slogans submitted.Town-Wide PromotionFor the first time in a long time, all ocf Roosevelt’s merchants have banded together in a town-wide promotion that takes patrons of Roosevelt’s stores back many years to the “Good Old Fashioned Days.” In the current issue of the Standard will be found dozens of ads loaded with hundreds of bargains, unheard of in 1958.
