EAT FALIS TRIBUNEJAIL BREAKER THOUGHT NEAR THIS (TTY NOWOfficers Seek Ronsa; Hard Ridden Horse Found; Carl Skeie Is Captured.Suspicion that Mervin Romsa, Great Falls man arrested here a month ago on a charge of robbing the Carlson store at Bole and who esenped from the Teton county jail at Cboteau Wednesday night, reached Great Falls and went into hiding Friday night was roused by the discovery of an exhausted marc, saddled and bridled, near the weut iide viaduct early Saturday morning hj O. K- Howard, n rancher living just* west of the city.The animal was completely spent, was covered with dried lather and to all appearance bad been Jridden to the limit of its endurance, over the heavy roods. The marc was branded C-laxy-K” on the right shoulder nnd was .bay in color. The saddle was branded with a reversed K nnd a B on the flaps nnd was made by Furnstnow at Miles City. I.ate Saturday night no claimant of the animal had appeared and no information had been obtained as to its owner.Escspad Choteau Jail.rndcrsheriff Melvin Rowe was informed of the finding of the animal bv Mr. Howard. Roman escaped from the Cbotcau jail with Carl Skeie bycutting their cell bars writh saws parsed in from the outside. Parnell and William Bebont nnd after themerchandise found in the shack had been identified a* haring been stolen from the Carlson store, the four were transferred to the Teton county jail. Boboitt and Parnell were confined in a separata cell and it is not known that they had learned of their friends plan to escape.
