Joe Goss went to Elnora this morning to take charge of the 8. I. section at that place. o.6 ° 8 Charley Malott has succeeded M. R. Ball as Assistant Agent for the B. S W. have a force of men placing sod on a part of their flower garden, north of the depot. o oO The I people save making some changes in their telegraph line in the neighbourhood of Kurta. o oO The 8. 1. is picking up many cars of steel between here and Elnora, and taking it to the ex tension. noa 8. Willson has been transferr ed from Evora to this city, and is now foreman on one of the 8. S. sections. o oO F. 8. Christy, of Allegheny, Pa., has taken the position made vacant by Mr. Spencer, in Chief Engineer Ranno’s office. o .Oo R 6. Kennedy arrived in this city this afternoon from Enora. SW. engines were mired in the nnd at Hay den where improvements are in progress, Sunday morning, and the switch engine was sent from Seymour to pull them onto the tracks. o on The Southern Indiana Rail way will not build a passenger station at Terre Haute, as they have arranged to enter the Un ion Station with the Big Four, Vandalia and E. Parry, the President of the proposed I ndianapolis South @to railroad, is to be in Bloom ington in a few days, when it is expected that the city and its varied interests will be consider ed in connection with the new Noe.
