At the very outsetj a production which heals anything put' wj-on the resort stages will be the bill. It j :lu. is a grand spectacular extravaganza, en- s evt titled “Robinson Crusoe,3’ which carries {to lt;with it special secenery and is gorgeous jafo in all its appointments. The company j ^ which presents it will open its season here. They will rehearse in this city, and will arrive about the -first of May for that purpose.Even the rush to get seats at this performance will not keep the visitors from !noting the changes at the bay shore' 1 of ( lavj Yei3chrMo;eraJterjhimbur■ pavillion. It is now undergoing ex-tensive changes and will be transformed lt;into a summer hotel with accomodations for 100 guests. It will be fitted up in the latest style with first class accomodations. It will be completed by May lo, and on that date a party of 40 people will arrive from Pittsburg for a few' weeks outing before the opening of the resort, It will be called the “Bay Shore Hotel.”Next to this will be a new electric light plant complete. It will furnish light for 800 incandescent and.25 new arc .lights which will be placed at advantageous points around the buildings and grounds.But the greatest changes of all will be at the main pavilion. It will be com-: pletely remodeled. The entrances will be changed and the approaches to the upper balconies will be from the outside. New seats of the latest ball bearing variety will be placed throughout the entire building and the seating capacity nearly doubled. The seats will of° be bo arranged as to give a good view ’ ° 1 from any part of the honse.The bar room will be fitted up with new fixtures and will be considerably enlarged.The lunch and dining rooms have not been forgotten and will be fitted out with steam cooking apparatus.Another building that will come in for its share of attention is a new pavilion just-east of the hath houses, which will be 60x200 feet in dimensions and will be used as a dancing hall and bowl tug alley. The bath houses, too, will be remodeled and shower baths added.The grounds have also been cared for and will be graded down to the beach so that the lake may be seen from any part of the picnic grounds. Mr. Gooding, the well known florist, has bean engaged to put them in shape and will beautify them with numerous beds of flowers and shrubbery. In every point advance and improvement will be made. Modern applirnces will be introduced and the resort will be second to none on the lakes.
