Washiitgtot* Township,At a meeting of the Democrats of Washington Township, Marion county, on the 6th of April, 1846, for the purpose of appointing delegates to the county convention to he holder* on the 16th of May, Mr. Carey H Boatright was called to the choir, and James Armstrong appointed secretary.The following gentlemen were appointed delegates to said county convention, bv the meeting, viz: Carey H, Boatright, David Huff, Jonas Huffman, Elijah James, Daniel Ellis, George Smith, Jacob Seott, Daniel McDonald, John Johnson, Jacob Roberts, Abner Lee, James Armstrong, Dr- G. M. Shaw, Robert Earl, Peter W. Koontz, Samuel Koontz, Abner Roberts, William McWhorter, Isaac Jackson, Wm. Richardson, Osvcn Scott, William Clawson, John Krire, A, F. Armstrong and Aquilla Hilton.On motion, it ivas requested that the proceedings of this meeting be published in the Indiana Democrat and Indiana State Sentinel, arid on motion, the meeting adjourned.C.
