Haddam NeckMrs. George Carlson will be hostess at the meeting of the Community Club in the parish house tonight.Mrs. Harry Nilsen will entertain members of the Ladies Aid •Society of the Federated Church on Tuesday afternoon and evening.Several members of the local Grange attended the loth anniversary celebration of the Cromwell Grange Wednesday evening.The Haddam Neck Grange yesterday entertained members of Seaview Pomona Grange in an all-day session. Dinner was served by the Home Economics Committee at noon. A motion picture, “Forward to the Farm,”’ was shown.The Higganum Grange Degree team put on the first and second degrees at the regular meeting of the Haddam Neck Grange Friday evening. The candidates were Mrs. W. W. Smith, Miss Margaret Nilsen, Miss Ruth Richards and C. O. Granat of Haddam.. The third and fourth degrees will be exemplified at the regular meeting next Friday evening, members of the East Hampton Grange putting on the third degree, and officers of the local Grange putting on the fourth degree. A rehearsal for the fourth degree will be held on Wednesday night. A harvest supper will be served following next Friday's meeting.Harry Nilsen cut his right thumb badly on a buzz saw Friday.Irwing C.
