Mrs. Thomas Gambling died at her home in Sharon Friday morning, April 2. Death was caused from old age and general debility. Deceased was born in South Hampton, England, on March, 20, 1847, and had therefore just passed the 608th milestone of life. On July 26, 1869, who was united In marriage to Thomas Gambling, and and in 1888 they immigrated to the United States, coming direct to Paris, where they resided for one year. They then removed to Sharon, where they have resided ever since. Mrs. Gambling was a most lovable woman and was held in the highest esteem by all who enjoyed her ac quaintance. Besides her husband, two sisters and a brother, ‘she’ survivors by two sons and seven daughters. Her funeral services were ‘held from the Sharon meeting house last Monday, and were attended by relatives and friends from all sec tions of the county. The speakers ‘all referred to exemplary life she had led and to her devotion to church work. Her presence will long be missed by those who were intimately associated with her, and especially by her husband, who had been her companion and shared with her the joys and sorrows of life for 46 years.
