COLLEGE PAPERWhen a person nowadays examines carefully a number of so called “College Papers, he may conclude that sureiv some of them areso called on account of the kind oftingopaper used or because they are t|upublished at least in the neighborhood of a College. There are College newspapers and College newspapers. Essentially the HanoveiCollege* Triangle shall be a College News organ, and when itriltintinofachieves that feature each week.itmav then devote some interest to abusiness phase, as to advertising,thofreetc.The fact that Hanover hasvtVtmseveral times before to support a (.(l paper is significant. It evinces the ar necessity of such a paper in thisj wCollege. It gives the present corpsof workers the benefit of someone's [Ufailure. On the other hand it signifies that some of the alumni mustbe remade. There are those whothlt;hbelieve it is not within Hanover'ssphere to publish a paper* The.\luthdid not believe that way at first,but experience shook their confidence. It is not disloyal in them toMofofconsider the paper question in thatlight. We are sorry it is so; butthe thing we have most to be proudof is that the greater part of ouralumni are with us. Along with thecurrent of great improvement andbig advance they know that our paper is bound to Ie a sure thing.Last April the Wabash Bachelor was established. It is a bi-weekly publication and, like the Triangle, is solely the product of 11 itthtofahihlt;lalI)]clt;students version of events. TinBachelor is a newsy and spiritedpublication and smacks of a spicy-ness ‘that the alumni love. Alsothe Earlhamite and the ’*!)(Pauw Daily, the former a semi-hhvlt;abimonthly, he latter a dail.v as itsname implies, are before us as examples. With these and the papersof other schools before us, there isno reason why Hanover can not is-bf(rlt;01msue tin* weekly news of Collegeand Alumni with an attractionequal to that of any College paperIt is the idea, further, to keep ourhcwf1student body and alumni in touchwith the* student bod.v and alumni of(ther institutions. Probably one ofthe features of failure in any College paper arises out of the inadeq-airlt;nIIIuacy of the news of student affairsand alumni information.
