Only two of the proposed courses, “Introduction to Bilingual Education” and “Bilingual Education in the ElementarySchool,” have not yet been approved.The University will probably be informed of the decision on theproposal before the end of the spring semester. “They (the TexasEducation Agency) are as anxious for us to have this program as weare,” said Dr. Clegg.Sosa, who will be the director of the Bilingual Program will receivehis doctorate degree from East Texas State University this spring.
