MANITOWOC « Detective Lt Elmer Scherer apprehended, warn ed and released five boys ranging in age from 9 to 13 years who ad mitted ransacking four cars in the Lincoln High School parking lot Thursday afternoon. Melvin Kutchera, who reported the incident, said one of his helpers chased the youngsters. He knew them by name. Kutchera said a flashlight was missing from his car, but a neighbor boy picked it up along the fence at the lot Lederer checked the area, then found the boys at the stub pier , the east end of Commercial Street. They admitted the offenses five of them dropped the flash light in escaping They were re leased after a warning
