religious service in our part town last Sunday was very good, with the Bible class at all we churches. The lesson was taken the 8th chapter of St. Mark the 27th verse to the 34th. ed, Jesus facing the cross. Oh, the lesson was so interesting and full of information, our hearts shouted for joy when Prof. J. C. Russell opened our eyes to under standing. Then the time came for preaching service at the St. Mary M.B. church, a short devotion and choir re hearsal, when Rev. Russell, Jerome Henry Mitchell and Hen ry Smith took to the rostrum. And Brother Smith was presented to Preach for the morning service. He really preached out of his soul. Everybody was glad that they had heard him. Our annual rally was very good. We hope by the third Sunday in this month we will finish with a good success. The state convention convened yesterday, Wednesday, in Ocala, Fla. Rev. Russell left Tuesday evening for the local program that night. Rev. Russell preached a wonderful sermon and, made some remarks about his leaving for the conven tion. And others are planning to go this Sunday coming. We are praying for a good success in this meeting. They are planning for big things in mission and education. They are expecting 12,000 delegates. Now, Mr. Joseph Moore is sick and needs our attention. Don’t for get him.
