Destroys the T. L Lee House# and the Boyd Building Was Seriously Damaged. Supposed to Be the Work of an In* ccndiary. No Clue as Yet.The commodious residence of T. L. Leo on East Front street was completely burned Saturday night, and that of Otis Boyd was seriously damaged. The alarm was sounded at 11:30 but the Lee house had fallen in before the boys reached the scene. The Boyd building was ablaze nearly all over but the body of the housewas saved. The Lee building caught on the south sido, seemingly on the in-sido,and the spreadwas unusually rapid. The house was vacated the day before, so no one knesv just where and how the blaze originated. Mrs. Boyd and her sister had not retired as Mr. Boyd had not gone in from his work. They say the fire spread as if saturated with oil. This coupled with the fact that the building had been vacant two days indicates the work of an incendiary origin.A small amount of insurance was carried on each house.
