The coroner held an inquest yesterday morning in the case of George R„ Fercns. the aged lawyer who was run down and hilled by an electric car In the Metropolitan Street Railway Company's Eighth street tunnel last 'Wednesday afternoon. The Jury* returned a verdict to the effect that Judsra Fearons* death was the- result of an accident and no blame was fixed for the death of the old man. The testimony showed that the old gentleman walked down the Ninth street Incline to the Union depot and started to walk back through the tunnel, when ha vaa run down and killed.
