Mr. Brace is a modest, quiet well-balanced gentleman, whose good sense and inoral courage will always give him the respect and confidence of the public. He was faithful to every duty as a Senator —made 110 unnecessary antagonisms, and carried every meaaure that he proposed. We are informed that his suo-eeesor, though a much younger man, is like strong character.
