Raymond Daniel Neff, 55, Hill top Trailer Court, formerly of Rigby, AEC Site employe who was taken ill Thurs day morning while at work, died Thursday night at a local hospital where he had been taken for treat ment. Death was thought to be due to a stroke. He fell from a truck . . while at the Na tional Reactor Testing Station working Thursday morning. He was born in Santaquin, Utah, June 3, 1905, son of Dan A. and Rosa B. Inquest Neff. He spent his early life at Santaquin and Mona, and began working in the mines at Eureka, Utah, when about 138. It was there he met Mary Lee Cole of Nephi and the two were married Jan. 21, 1930. They lived in the Spring Lake area until 1946 when they came to Idaho Falls. While in Eureka he was influen tial in organizing a labor union in the mines. The first marriage was term inated. He was married to Helen Taylor Oct. 22, 1960, in Rigby, and they have made their home in Rigby until lately. While in Idaho he has been a private truck operator and was a member of the Teamsters Local 983, and of the LDS Church. In addition to his widow surviv ing are sons and daughters includ ing Mrs. Bud (LeRaye) Eaton, Payson, Utah; Mrs. Doyle (La Deane) Walker, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sam (JoAnn) Waddell, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Robert (Carole) Haw kins, West Jordan; Erma Neff, Los Angeles, Calif.; Linda and Glenda Neff, twins, of Provo; Eu gene Neff, Idaho Falls; Jack Neff, Idaho Falls; Dan Neff, Prescott, Ariz.; Ted Neff, Provo; Larry Neff, Spanish Fork; 16 grandchil dren. One daughter preceded him in death. Two step children also survive, Mrs. Myra Hoehn of Idaho Falls and Earl H. Taylor, serving with the army in Germany. Brothers and sisters surviving include Alden Neff and Mrs. Flor ence Petersen, Santaquin; Lester Neff and Mrs. Lucille Harding, liv ing in California; Mrs. Ruby Cox, Provo; Mrs. Ethel Brooks, Payson. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Williams Chapel with Bishop Talmadge P. Grim mett of the Idaho Falls 1st LDS Ward officiating. Interment will be in Fielding Memorial Park. The family will meet friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Williams Funeral Home. Mr. Neff
