This is a very important work and will want to be started at once. The street grades are to le established. This work was started by the old council and the hardest part of the work is nearly over with. Fire limits are also to be established. This was also started by the old council and will have to Ix? finished by the new. Then thereIi is the matter of cleaning the stumps 1 out of the streets and alleys that ! will have to he settled, besides the many other little matters that will turn up resulting from these. It is going to be a busy year for the city dads, and one that will try their metal, but we have an efficient set of officers that are equal to the occasion. They hrve pledged themselves to work for the best in-4terests of the town, so we need not worry about what the results will be.
