Lyon, whose death wa^ re- ^ ported here Saturday, and whose life since that time has hung in the balances, passed away yesterday evening at 7 o'clock in New York, where she had gone for treatment several weeks back, and whither the family were summoned to her bedside some days ago.For many months Mrs. Lyon has been in bad health and numberless trips have been planned for her benefit. It was hoped that an ocean voyage and the di version of foreign travel would prove beneficial, and it was in this hope that Ithe family made the journey to Europe last summer and lingered amid the sights and scenes of distant lands. H Duke, of New York.
