The Court being inform d,(lilt it was given out in Foreign Countries, and particularly in Germany, that this Crown had enter’d into an Accommodation with that of Spain,and had withdrawn itfelf from the Alliance of Hanover} Orders are fent to our Secretary at Ratisbon to contradict thofe falfe Reports, which could be fpread with no other View, than to beget Diftrutt between his Moft Chriftian Majefty, and the Kings of Great Britain and Pruffia, with whom his laid Majefty is refolv’d to maintain afood Friendlhip and Underftanding, without eviating in the leaft from the Treaty concludedat Hanover. ..
