Mrs. Frank Shofner, the former Miss Marilyn Marie Tilton, was honored with a miscellaneous shower by Mrs. Hugh L. Adkins Sr. The party had its setting in the Adkins home at 6535 Navajo drive. ‘Spring flowers were centered on the lace covered service table. Other floral arrangements were ‘placed throughout the party scene. _ Mrs. Adkins was assisted with the courtesies by her daughter, Richard Bowhay. Included in the guest list were James. O. P. Arnold, G. C. Brad ley, R. L. Brown, Alberta Cars kaddon, Amy Cound, J. B. Dinwid die, E. B. Elfers, A. F. Howard, Robert Hancock, J. W. Lawless, Earl Lundell and Ben Leavitt. Also, Mmes. M. A. Lewells, F. E. McCuaig, C. W. Mearns, C. P. iMessing, B. L. Perkins, C. A. Pun lshon, Lewis Price, C. J. Shreve, K. E. Shofner, W. G. Yeager, J. J. Zillich and Misses Fay Odell and Nellie Odell.
