LIMA DISTRICT—Jackson Center has an active Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society under the presidency of Mrs. Mollie Keneaster. Several months ago the older ladies became the “Mvs-ten” Mothers” of the young women of the Standard Bearers. At a banquet given recently by these mothers to their Standard Bearer daughters, the mystery was removed. Nineteen of the older group, thirty-one Standard Bearers, and several guests participated. Mrs. Clara Simms, matron of Flower Hospital Nurses’ Home, widow of a former pas-tof at Jackson Center, and originator of the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Societv at that place, presented the early history of the organization. Mrs. J. F. Sopher, founder of the local Standard Bearers, sent greetings. The program consisted of a devotional service, two impressive sketches, individual and group singing, and games.
