A Sunday tragedy i« reported from HuberRhain county in which William B. Bell, ft traveling salesman for an Atlanta drug store, wan beaten to death with ft stick in the hands of J. S. Smith. The killing occurred near a small village called Soqne Poatofflce, and the man who wielded the club of death had been the hoBt of the victim but a few bourn beforo. Smith is said to hnve been intoxicated at the timjfcof of the killing. He claims the killing was to avenge an insult which Bell had offered a lady member of liis family.
