It is—a spot of dry ground.Fred Greider and George Kilgore made a flying trip to Cromwell, Sunday afternoon.The elocutionary entertainment at Salem church has been postponed indefinitely on account of bad roads.Miss Grace Salts, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. Schlotter-baek, in Ligonier, came home Sunday.Ottie Hartsock started forKfmmeil, Monday morning, where he has employment for the summer with a Mr. Slabaugh.A social was held at R. J. Snod grass’s last Friday evening. About fifteen young people were present and an enjoyable time is reported.Jonas Salts has purchased the John Wilkinson property near the Brushwood school house. Mr. Wilkinson has a public sale next Friday, but will remain upon the place until fall.
