Annual meeting of Warren Fire Depart ment was called to order by President Geo. S. Davis. Minutes of last annual meeting held April 6th 1885 read and approved. The credentials of eight delegates from each company, Niagara No. 1, Watson No. 2, Struthers Independent and Exchange Hook Ladder were then presented and on motion made and carried, four mem bers were appointed to inspect them. They reported the credentials all right and they were accepted. Chief C. H. Smith presented his report for the past year and speaks of the principal parts for the benefit of the members present. Chief Smith then took the chair and stated that the nominations for the several offices were in order. For chief, F. H. Wy man was nominated by F. Earnhardt and F. E. Windsor was nominated by G. 8. Davis. On motion made and carried the nominations were closed. For 1st, assistant, A. S. Dalrymple and W. C. Allen were nom inated and on motion made and carried nomination closed. For 2nd, assistant A. J. Spinner was nominated, on motion made and carried nomination closed. For president, Geo. 8. Davis, for vice president, J. W. Crawford, for secretary, J. F. Hegerty, for treasurer, J. W. Kitchen. The candidates above named were unanimously nominated. The chairman, then appointed A. J. Spinner, F. Sailor, M. Emery and L. Goodrich to be tellers. The ballot for chief was as follows: FH. Wyman, 15, F. EF. Windsor, 17. FP. E. Windsor having a majority of two votes was declared elected. For 1st. assist, the vote was as follows: A. 8. Dalrymple 9, and W. C. Allen 19. W. C. Allen was declared elected. For 2nd, assistant, there being no other can didate the secretary was instructed to cast the ballot for A. J. Spinner. For president Geof 8. Davis, for vice president, J. W. Crawford, for secretary, J. F. Hegerty, for treasurer, J. W. Kitchen. There being no other candidates the secretary, was upon motions made and carried, instructed to cast the ballots for the above nominees. Presi dent Davis then took the chair and C.H. Smith read the report of Treas. J. W. Kitchen for the past year. On motion made and carried the report was accepted. Motion made and carried that the secretary present the names of the officers elect to the council for confirmation. F. E. Windsor made a few remarks, thanking the members for the honor conferred and they all smoked. Motion made and carried that the commit tee appointed one year ago on constitution and by laws be discharged and a new one appointed. The president then appointed the following members to act as committee on bylaws: H. E. Davis, B. F. Ott, 8. E. Walker, E. Amman, 8. Riddlesperger, L. T. Parmlee, J. L. Cogswell Gee, W. Smith.
