These expulsions ’ were effected in each case by the audience themselves, and the police were not required to interfere to suppress anything hire personal violence. At the conclusion of the proceedings the baron and his wife left the hall in a cab from a private • entrance, and the vast mob who had assembled outride were consequently disappointed in getting a glance at him. We may state in conclusion, before the proceedings commenced, a drunken mas was taken into custody who had a poker concealed up his coat sleeve.
