Mrs. Jacqueline McFadden of Hopewell Center is the third woman to date to express an interest in running for a position on the Canandaigua School Board. She joins Mrs. Charles Fahr, Brian Harvey and Mrs. Lynn Stockwell who have previously announced their intentions to run for the two vacancies on the Canandaigua School Board. Mrs. McFadden, the wife of a state trooper, picked up her petition at the superintendent’s office yesterday. She must now secure 100 signatures from school district residents in order to be placed on the ballot for the May 1 school board election. Deadline for returning the petitions to the superin tendent's office is next Wed nesday. Mrs. McFadden said she is running for the school board to keep a ceiling on taxes and to improve school programs. She feels that as the mother of four children, all enrolled in the Canandaigua school system, she has a good idea of what is needed in the district.
