Charles Wilson is working for E. W. Lewis this week. F. M. Sargent made a business trip to Odon Thursday. Foster Gee, Charles Wilson and Gladys Lewis spent Sunday with Lloyd Lamb. Several from here attended the community meeting at Center school Friday evening. Mrs. W. S. Collins and daughter were the guests of Mrs. Elis Tay lor Saturday night and Sunday. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Sar gent, March 24, a fine girl, Frances May, at the Bloomington hospital. Mr. and Mrs Hayden Osborn and children and Carl Porter were the guests of W. T. Porter and a family Easter: Roscoe Cundiff, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Collins and daughter took supper with Miss Addie Sargent Sunday night. Homer, Fisher and Gladys Lewis went to Shoals Saturday to pass the examination for teachers’ li cense. Mrs. Grant Crane was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Marlin Hert and family, or near Mt. Springs, Tuesday. Mrs. Joseph Gillham and children and Mrs. Russell McNabb were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Wag goner Tuesday. Mrs. Ellis Taylor was the guest of her brother, Charles Runyon and sister, Mrs. Will Stone, at Shoals Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Cletis Inman and son, Doyle, of Cale, and Grant Crane spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Hert and family. Mrs. W. T. Porter and daughter, and Mrs. Hubert Banks, cf .Terre Haute were the guests of Mrs. 31. W. Gee Wednesday evening. F. iM. Sargent was the guest of his wife and daughter at Blooming ton Sunday. Both are dying nicely and expect to be home soon. Miss Brada Sargent, who is stay ing at the home of Charles Scott, of Blankenship, was the guest of her sister, Addie, who is staying at this place this week.. Mr. and Mrs. BE. W. Lewis and children, Misses Mattie Smoot, and Gera and Emily Lamb and Raymond Gillham and Sherman Smoot were the guests of Grant Crane and fam ily Sunday. Miss Maude Wagoner, who has been visiting her parents here for the past few weeks, left last week for Whana, where she will join her future husband, Mr. Greist. They will be married shortly after ‘her ar’ rival.
