Utah water hounds went down to de feat in the aquatic meet with Deseret gym swimmers last night in one of the closest meets ever held at the Deseret pool. The final score was 34 to %2. Two Utah disqualifications for not touching the bank with both hands directly caused the college defeat, costing § points. Alvin Nelson won the 100-yard dash in great style. Melvin Freebairn (“U ) took the 100-yard backstroke. George Nelson did the best diving, while John D. Giles took distance plunging honors. The U. of U. captured the relay.
