Charles Watson Warner was born November G, 1858. at Curi-tril, Iowa, and departed this life Tuesday evening at about 9 o’clock, March 57. 1917, at hi home in Keosauqua. Iowa, bein-'l aged .58 years, 4 months and 21 days. He grew to manhood in Cantril, and here was married to Mabel Casady, who died February 5, 1885. Three children blessed this marriage, all of whom survive, viz: Mrs. Selma Hoskins and Mrs. Lillian Moore of Cantril and Clifford Warner of Stockport.In September, 188G. Mr. Wai-ner was united in marriage to Miss Kitty Guy of Cantril. whose death oc cured March 2G, 1905 Seven children were the fruit of this marriage. Floyd and Ethel, twins, died in infancy. The others survive and are DarrelllGuv, Charles Augustus. William j Watson. Karl and Bruce.September 30, 1908, Mr. Warner was married to Anna Mary.Roush of Keosauqua who survives him.Mr. Warner’s adult life was' passed some part in Nebraska, several years in Oklahoma but the greater part on his farm near Lebanon, Iowa. About a year ago the home was made in Keosauqua. 'About the middle of January. Mr. Warner made a trip to Florida intending if he found the climate propitious, to spend the winter months the: e. Not being pleased with his experience lie returned after a stay of only ten davs. His health had not been any too good all winter, but the sickness from which he died was of brief duration, having begun only on the 22nd of March. Death was very sudden, as only an hour or t wo bef re he breathed his last he had seemed improved.
