A son of Mr, George Masena, of Ashtabula, O., while working in the yard of the Lake Shore Railway, at that place, had a leg crushed, last Saturday p, m., and died soon after amputation was performed. He was a nephew of Mr, John Masena, of this place, who with his family went up Monday morning to attend the funeral.Look out for “Peck’s Bad Boy V* who, it is said, is coming to Jamestown.Mr. David Bracken talks of opening a meat market in town.Miss Kate Calkins has gone to Erie, in answer to a call from the office of the Daily Evening Herald of that city.Mrs. McClain, and Dove McClain, of Pittsburgh, are visiting at J. Dennison's.Louis Houishoider has moved into his new store, and now enjoys a room as large, beautiful and light as his popular bread!Mr, Charles Callahan, of Greenville, uas bought Burd’s blacksmith shop, and has taken the Hover house, in the northwestern part of town, for a residence,Mr, James Hudson has bought the Grinned place; to which he will move this week.Mr. Will Calhoun, of Youngstown, O , was here first of the week.Mr. Frank Calhoun, for many years J. l'\ operator here, has been promoted to assistant train dispatcher at Youngstown, lo which place he departed last week—not intending to remove his family till next fall.
