When the Drumheller Kinsmen started their indoor rodeo 3 years ago, it was billed as the first indoor rodeo in the valley. Well, it took Clarence Wilson to prove us wrong. He provided us with this photo of Jim Carruthers of Michichi on the back of a steer drying a Drumheller Stampede in the hockey arena in 1942. Anyway, the Kinsmen are planning a bigger and better rodeo this year, so mark your calendars, dig out your cowboy hat and plan to join in the fun April 27, 28, 29. mailphoto
