BOY SCOUT NEWS Boy Scout Troop 109 met Tuesday, March 26 at the First Methodist Church. Magnetic Springs Scout Troop 91 were guests. An Order of the Arrow elec tion was held and the follow ing boys and leaders are can didates: Joe Payne, Jeff Wills, Keith McKnight, Jim Holcomb, Dennis Hillman and John Liv ingston. Elected last year and also to be candidates are Lar ry Northrup, Roger Ridge, Scoutmaster Kenneth North rup and Assistant Scoutmaster Lew Warner. Three boys and two adults from Magnetic Springs will receive the hon or. Induction will be at Camp Lazarus near Delaware. The Order of the Arrow is the national brotherhood of Scout campers. Its purpose is to recognize these campers who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and to develop and maintain camping traditions and spirit. This honor is not earned on your own, but bestowed on a Scout by his fellow campers. Dr. Goche of Marysville is the head of the Order. The following dates were an nounced: April 6, MYF groups will see Gone With the Wind; April 20-21 Campout for patrol leaders, assistant leaders and their fathers; July 21-28, Sum mer Camp at Greenhill near Lancaster, $25.00. The troop committee is look ing for a campsite in the Rich wood area for the Spring Camporee.—Jim Somerlot, re porter.
