The Home Demonstration club held its annual community night at the hall last Friday evening. Although, due to conflicting dates and illness in the community, the attendance was somewhat smaller than usual, every one pronounced the event a decided success. The pot-luck dinner, in the customary manner, proved to be an abundant and well-balanced meal. Af ter dinner the following program was presented: Community Singing. Duet—Nancy Stenson and Robert Smith. Highlights of My Trip to Califor nia—Mrs. May Thompson. Tap Dance—Yvonne Wheeler. Skit—A Major Operation. Vocal Trio—Miss Dorothy, Swen son, Mrs. S. Halvorson, Mrs. F W Smith. The H. D. Club and the Community -County Agent S. N. Halvorson. Solo—Mrs. F. W. Smith. Skit—The Go-Arounds. Following the program, games and stunts under the direction of our rec reation leader Miss Dorothy Swenson were enjoyed by the adults and older children, while Mrs..G. I. Tangen took charge of the younger children. Harry Thompson’ and his mother Mrs. May -‘Thompson returned some last’. Thursday, from Reedley, Cal., where they spent most of the winter with Mr.. and Mrs. Frank Thompson. They came home by way of Dillon where they spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Crane and son Dale. One of the outstanding experiences of their trip this year was to Grand Coulee dam. Mrs. G. I. Tangen commenced her work as census enumerator Tuesday. Her territory includes school district No. 8 and nearby districts. August Ziebarth is moving to Cha teau where he will operate a garage in the Connor building. Mr. and Mrs. Ziebarth and family will live in the Peters house. Eighteen stockholders of the Te ton County Farmers’ Mercantile Co. (Farrington Oil Co.) were guests of the Home Oil Co in Great Falls last Friday.
