if weather permits the singing school at Kelly will close this week. Keith and Karl Hale transacted business in McKinney Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hale visited Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hale Sunday. Relatives from Caddo Mills were the weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Best. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nichols Spent Saturday night, with Mr. and Mrs. Jim O. Howell. Several from this community at tended the funeral of Mrs. J. D. Haun of Celina last Wednesday, Mrs. Tom Burch, Mrs. M. T. Burch, Mrs. S. A. Burch and Mrs. Floyd Nichols were shopping in McKinney Friday afternoon. Jess Bost, Roy Bost, Wilburn Bost, and Rob Roy Gattis went to Lake Dallas fishing Friday night. Roads were not being travelled the first part of the week on ac count of several bridges being washed out, due to severe rain fall Sunday night. Roy Craghead, Jr., spent Satur day night in Van Alstoyne with his grandmother, Mrs. Jim Fergu son, Mrs. Glen Butler, Mrs A. Shipley, Mrs. Earl Howlett, Mrs Johnnie Hagg and little daughter, Mary Etta, Mrs. L. Goeman, Mrs John Teal and Lloyd Melton, Mrs Dan Gilliland and daughter, An nea Lois, Mrs. Er. L. Boren, Mrs. Leo Petway and son, Charles, Mr and Mrs. John Day and chil dren, all residents of Allen, were shopping in McKinney Saturday afternoon.
