John T. Harrison, residing oneand a half miles east of Buffaloville,in this county, took a large quantityof arsenic on Tuesday of last week,for the purpose, as he avowed, ofself destruction. He was a very intemperate man, said he could not get along without whiskey, and conld not get along with it, so he took thatway to qmt.
