MUSCOGEE SHERIFF SALES.WILL be sold on tte first Tuesday in Maynext, at the Market-House, in the city of Columbus, between* the- legal hours of sale, the following property, to-wit:Four negroes, viz, Ned a man about sixty years old, William a mulatto fellow about twenty-four years old, Natt a boy about fourteen years old, and Sally a-black girl about thirteen years old ; levied on a»the property of Thomas M. Nelson, to satisfy a fi fa issued from the superior court of Muscogee-county in favor of Peter McLaren, vs said Thotms M. Nelson,One mahogany bureau, with a glass, a small mahogany table, a Brussels carpet, six maple chairs, cane bottomed, a child’s crip, a mantle clock, two bedsteads, beds and bedding ; levied on as the property of Reuben R. Hudgins, to satisfy a fi fa issued Irom the superior court of Muscogee county in favor of Seaborn Jones vs said Hudgins.A black negro woman, named Charlotte, aboutthirtyeight years old, and a fellow named George about twenty-seven years old ; levied on as the property ofL. Madison Biggers, to satisfy a fi fa issued from Muscogee superior court in favor of Richard Burt vs said Biggers.Ten acres of land in Wynnton, adjoining Aaron Ferguson, and Mrs. Harris, on the east, Col. Chambers and Moses Butt on the west, handsomely improved, being the residence of Dr. Lovic Pierce, also the following negroes, JudaJi, a woman about thirty years old, Anna, a girl ten years old, Lucius, a boy eight years old, Peggy, a girl four years old, Purnel, a boy 15 months old, Emelme, a woman about seventeen years old, a scatntress, and her child ; Nicholas a boy about 15 years old ; levied on as the property of Dr. Lovic Pierce, to satisfy a fi fa issuedfrom the superior court of Muscogee, county, in favor of William T. Stark vs said Pierce and Thomas F. Foster.The following negroes, to wit, Nelpon a man forty-five, Wesly twenty-five, Prince 25, Easthera woman twenty-five, Lucinda 50, Amey, an excellent seam tress, twenty four, Richard a fellowabout 37 years of age ; levied on to satisfy a fifa issued from Muscogee superior court, in favorof Richard P. Spencer vs Lovic Pierce, and other fi fas in my hands against said Pierre.Lot number 388, in the city of Columbus, in said county, containing a fcalf acre, well improved, it being the lot whejeon A. 0. Black-mar now resides; levied on as the property ofJames D. Johnson, to satisfy a fi fa isseud fromMuscogee inferior court, in favor of Samuel A, Bailey, vs James D. Johnson and Randolph L. Mott.The steamboat Viola, with all her furniture and tackling; levied on as the property of H. W. Van Vegiiten, to satisfy a fi fa issued from he superior court of Muscogee county, in favorof John Hutchinson vs said Van Veghten andSharpless.All of John D. Mims.Lot of land number two hundred and fifteen, in the tenth district of Muscogee connty, containing two hundred two and a half acres ; levied on as the property of Francis Horn, to satisfy a fi fa issued from a justice's court in favor of Daniel M. Jones vs said Horn.. Levy made and returned to me by a constable.Fifty acres of land, more or les3, in the south-east corner of lot number one hundred and nineteen, in the tnirty-third district of Muscogee county ; levied on to satisfy a fi fa issued from a magistrate’s court, in favor of W. W. Wall vs Peter Brannan, aud a tax fi fa. Levies^ made and returned to me by the baiiff.Two hundred two and a half acres, number not known, in the 8th district ofMuscogee county, known as the Bishop Place, adjoining T- G.
