March 18, sunny St. George, Utah Was the setting for the Badger cindermen’s highest scoring performance thus far this season. In this multi-team meet, Coach Cro shaw's charges scored points in almost every event entered and finished second in the team standings. In the running events, Mike Green streaked to victory in the 100 yd. dash in 9.8 seconds. In the same race John Enslow scored points for Snow by finishing third. In the 880 yd. run, Steve Winn captured fourth place with a 2:09.0 clocking. Providing the Badgers with another victory was the 440 yd. relay team, consisting of John Enslow, Wade Nielson, Rick Nelson, and Mike Green. This four some turned the track in a blazing 43 seconds flat, which was almost two full seconds better than their previous best. Also running and scoring for the cindermen were Carl Anderson, Chris Sandoval and Paul Huff. The Badger’s scoring in the field shows that they felt the absence of their weight men.
