Wright, 67, of 506 East Harvey, retired Santa Fe conductor, died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital where he was admitted Wednesday afternoon when he was suddenly stricken ill in a downtown recreation parlor.He was bom April 3, 1899 at Guthrie, Okla. He was married Nov. 28, 1923 to Lois Ward at El Dorado, Kan. He had been a resident of Wellington since 1920 when he started work herefor the Santa Fe railway. He retired as a conductor on May 21, 1964. He was a member of the Brotherhood of RailwayTrainmen and the Seventh DayAdventist Church.Survivors include his widow of the home; two sons, Jerry W., of Shawnee, Kan., and Stanley, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Erber, 1219 North A, Wellington and Mrs. Carolyn Calvert, Victorville, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Barnhill, Guthrie, Okla., one brother, George Wright, 607 South Washington, Wellington; 9 grandchildren.Servides for Mr. Wright willbe found listed in the deathsand funerals on page 2 of Thedistricts.The question arises in Anthony, Harper, Cherryvale, Cha-Jetmore, Conway Springs, wiiuiDiu, Lamed, Wellington Eureka, Winona, Holcomb, Dodge City, Manhattan, Emporia, Hoirington, Caney, Kingman and Arkansas City.Shawnee Heights and Osage county will vote on whether to establish a recreation system.Albert L Wright Dies Saturday
