Community Sunrise Buster Services SlatedSecond annual sunrise Easter service lor the Commerce area will be held 6:30 a.m. Sunday, sponsored by the Commerce Ministerial alliance.The First Christian church, site of a similar congregational suniise service for 23 years, has been selected as the place for the interdenominational worship again this year.A combined choir under the direction of Daniel Scott, instructor in voice at East Texas Slate college, will sing the anthem *Tn Joseph's Lovely Garden” (Dick-j mson) and lead in the singing of Easter hymns by the congregation. Mrs. A. A. Freezia will be . organist.1 Dr. Eugene T. Moore, pastor of the First Baptist church, will deliver the Easter meditation.President of the alliance, the : Rev. Leland Spurrier, will read two poetic meditations, “Across the World” and “Is It So?” Host- « pastor, the Rev. William P. Har- i degree, will preside and coordinate the worship elements.Clifton Laird, minister of the Church of Christ, will lead the 1 responsive reading. The Rev. i Dean Maurer, vicar of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, « will direct the litany of intercession and praise and pronounce the benediction. The Rev. Walter ■ Lazcnby Jr.. pastor of the Firs*. Presbyterian church, will read the Easter scripture account and lead the morning prayer.Residents of the Commerce area and their Easter guests are invited to this 50-minute worship.
