Brewers have issued stringent orders against pre-tastes of the brew, and prohibition agents are watching the thirsty bottlers bottle.FINDS LOST PROPERTYOklahoma City—For $7.50 T. O. Thompson obtained a tract of land in the heart of the Oklahoma City oil field. The tract is 18 inches wide and 740 feet long. Thompson “discovered” the property, which had been “lost” for 15 years, and he paid $7.50 for a tax deed to it.IN ‘DRY’ OHIO Geneva, O.—Capt. I. D. Howard, North Geneva traveler, naturalist, horticulturist and raconteur, says:“I was fishing with a pole and line in a marsh down behind my house. Z“He must have a lot of money.had started to dose when I felt an awful tug on my pole. I gave a yank. There on my hook was what appeared to be the old man of the sea himself—a fish with a long flowing beard.“In my excitement, I dropped my pole and the fish disappeared in the marsh. It was about three feet long and its beard was about eight inches long.WAS THIS JUSTICE?Camden, N. J.—Paul Miller’swooden leg failed him but the defection was not a physical one. He was in court, charged with deserting his wife.“He ran away from me when I met him on the street, Judge,” said Mrs. Miller.“Just a minute, judge,” interposed Miller.
