Turner, of Harlan, Iowa, an uncle of the deceased, submitsthe following:Victor Els worth Montgomery was | y born at Agency City, Iowa, March 27, fll 1861, and moved with Ids parents toU; Brashear, Mo,, while a small boy and | n from there moved to Moulton In 1872.He was married to Miss Francis Rucker, Aug. 1st, 1886, and to tills union there were born four children— two boys and two girls—Nellie, Clarence A,, Ruth, Victor Eslworth, Jr.He united with the M, E. church about 21 years ago, and became a member of Prairie Home Lodge, No. 273, K. of P., April 1,18di. Wirt was a kind and affectionate husband and a loving father, and he was always ready to give a helping hand to those in need as hundreds can testify. He was a true and devoted Christian J and never retired at night without] ( reading a portion of God’s holy word.
