No! definite estimate of the loss in obtainable here, but it will go into the thousands of dollars. The suspicion of incendiarism is founded on the fact that a quantity of 'ir rags and burlap hags saturated with kerosene oil was found burning under the residence of hr. Buchanan, the agent and superintendent ot tin* school, and also in the bova* dormitory and school | cot rooms, unignited. lr. Buchanan discovered the flames under his residence and extinguished them before any damage was done.
