Evening WeddingMr. and Mrs. Kevin KnutsonMr. and Mrs. Kevin Knutson were married March 8th in a candlelight ceremony at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Eldora by the Rev. Maynard Spitzack. Lighted twin candelabra and bouquets of white pixie carnations and daisies decorated the altar, and peach and rust bows with babies’-breath marked the bridal aisle. Wedding selections were sung by Mark Miller and Nancy Terveer, and Mark McClellan was organist for the evening service.The bride is the former Jane Marie Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll L. Smith of rural Iowa Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knutson of Eldora are the parents of thebridegroom.Mr. Smith gave his daughter in marriage. She chose a floor length gown of white satin featuring a full skirt and bodice designed with a self-ruffled collar and cummerbund waistline trimmed with lace. Her full, cathedral length veil was attached to a Juliet cap of applique lace, and she carried a nosegay of white pixie carnations and daisies with peach colored babies’-breath.Vicki Smith, LeAnn Booth, Kristi Knutson, sister of the bridegroom, and Tania Thies were maid of honor and bridesmaids. They wore identical gowns of dark peach qiana with jackets of dark brown and peach flowered velour, and they carried wicker baskets ofpeach daisies and pixie carnations tipped inbrown.Mr. Knutson was attended by Bill Butler as best man and Warren Buckley, David Smith and Bruce Barz were groomsmen. Seating the guests were Mitch Deters and Jeff Roll. Mindy Deters and Tim Diamond were flowergirl and ringbearer, and Tim Booth and Kirk Knutson were candlelighters.Approximately 300 guests attended a reception at the church after the wedding. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Booth and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ahkerman.Mr. and Mrs. Knutson went to Florida on their wedding trip and are now at home at 180110th St. in Eldora.Mrs. Smith graduated from the Iowa Falls high school, attended the University of Northern Iowa, and is now a receptionist for Dr. Dean Stickrod, D.D.S., in Eldora. Her husband graduated from the Eldora high school and is employed by Gehrke Construction of Eldora.Rehearsal Dinner Forty-five guests attended a dinner hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knutson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church hall following the wedding rehearsal of their son, Kevin, and his fiancee, Jane Smith.
