‘The ongagement od approach Ins. marriage of Miss Dianné Mack and Howard Dyer Til, made poihile today, was announce d to a group of close friends and relatives at a party given last night by Judge and firs. Thomas and Afr, and Mrs. Used Jaseps. The party wasted in the Thianas home. Guests were re ceived by the hosts and honorees. Miss Mack wore a uerival of, flawered cotton vrope in yellow and white design with matching, theater coat. Her accessories were yhite. The reception rooms were dec orate in pink snapdragons, gladioli and tulips. Featured was a framed picture of the fyonar nosts when they were make aieve bride and groom for the Delta Democrats Times. June Bride issue. 1 showed the reople, then seniors at high school in formal wedding attire. Suyper was served in the d ing room, 4 white linen cut work cloth covered the table, centered with a bridal banquet of dainty white Nowers. On either side were candelabra holding white tapers. The Nostesses were assisted by Mrs. Wiley Mack, mother of the, bride-elect and Mrs. Menard Dyer, another of the proom-elect. Small tables were arranged in the reception rooms. As the guests were finishing their des+ sert a knock came at the door and a newsboy (Roy Campbell, Jr.) entered calling extras. Those carried the formal announcement of the young couple. Toasts were shrank to them. Attending were the honorees, Dr. and Sirs. Wiley Meek, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dyers, Htoward Dyer Sr. Mrs. Stanley, Henshaw of Natchez, Mr. and Airs, Ray Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. John Gannon, Mrs. Gene Gannon, Mrs. Fred Murray, Ormand Beach, Florida, and Park, Jack Burke, [Mr ward Mrs. Leon Sharp, Miss Kathryn Brewer, Greenwood, Mickey Black, Sidon, Miss Bar bara Jon Bretell, Shelby, Will Gourley, Rosedale, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A.
