Funeral services for Ronald Becker, 20, were held Monday morning, March 30, at 9:80 o'clock in Sacred Heart church, with Fr. H. B. Karhoff as cele brant of the requiem: Mass. Pallbearers were Dennis Gille land, Ralph Hudekitz,and Le land Eral of this place, Jim Filloon of Laurens, Ronald Kruger of the U.S.A.F., Japan and Harold Block of Rolfe. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Becker was fatally in jured in a car accident on U.S. Highway 34 in Nebraska dur ing a snowstom last Thursday afternoon. He died that even ing in a hospital at York, Neb. Ronald James. Becker was born July 14, 1988 at Poca hontas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius B. Becker. He attended Sacred Heart school until his Junior year then entered the Pocahontas Public school, from which he graduated in 1957. He had been employed by the Poca hontas Ready-Mix Co., for four years and at the present time was employed as a construction worker by the Tillotson Con struction Co. at Aurora, Neb.
