Weather permitting, Kirwin Figh'’s Bucs were scheduled to meet Jeff Davis of Houston at Stewart Field Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The two teams were slated to meet Monday but the tit had to be postponed because of the wet condition of the playing field. Kirwin wa seeking to improve on a 23 records and at the same time gain further experience which will help them in Catholic conference action . Kirwin lost the conference opener to Houston Martan, 8-5 have last Friday. The Bucs hold victories over Clear Creek and La Marque and have been beaten by Ball and Houston Reagan. Kirwin Coach Brother Justin said he planned to start either: Richard Hernandez or Danny Liberto on the mound. Other starters will include Shelton Champaign at first, Wil liam Chlad at second, Bubba Hanson at third, Pat Hamby at short, Dugan Hanes catching and Grayv Hairstey, Carroll Sanger and Don Raehe at the Outfield Marlin and St Thomas are co leaders at district now with 2-0 rec ords They meet in Houston Tues day for the undisputed league lead.
