Councilman Carbon of the Firs Committee submitted Ordinance No 183 pertaining to the regulation of the Fire Department and moved that the rules be waived and that ordinnae No. 183 be read . the first and second time by title only and passed to the third reading for final action. Motion Carried.ORDINANCE NO. 183AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 1S9 PERTAINING TO AND FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARION,. IOTASection 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 169 be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the words and figure* Twelve hundred dollars in line nine of said section three and by inserting in lieu thereof the words Six hundred dollara.Section 3. The foregoing ordinance shall be in force 'and effect from and after its publication in the Marion Sentinel.Passed this third day of March, 1934,E.E.Parsons , City Cisrk A. E.
