DIED—In Franklin, La., on Wednesday, March 30th, 1901, at 6:50 o’clock p. m.#Elizabeth Caroline Gordy.Wife of Jesse Olton Collins.Born October 8th, 1839, aged 01 years, 5 months and 22 days.The funeral took place from the residence of Mr. Wilson McKerall, Sr., on Thursday evening, March 31st, 1901, at 5 o’clock.Mrs. Collins wa9 one of the old residents of this parish and leaves a large family connection.The Banner extends its sympathies to the relatives and family of the deceased.
