GROCERY STOKE ROHilKD.The gocery store of Matt Jensen, on North Main street, was burglarized last night,and this is the way the fact was discovered. About 2 o’clock a. m. Policemen White ami Smith found ( has, Osborne and Will Holley, two well known crooks, strolling around in the north part of the town. They put the two men under arrest and conducted them to the station, wher-c a search of their persons disclosed the fact that they had in their possession 29 coppers, 2 nickels, 3 razors, 5 pocket knives and some cigars and cigarettes. The policemen at once concluded that the fellows had been breaking into a store of some sort and they at once directed their steps to the small grocery houses ou forth Main street. At Jensen’s place iliev found that one of the windows hail been pried open by burglars. Mr. Jensen was notified and a search of the place w as made when it was found that the money drawer and show cases had been gone through, and many articles were missing. At the station house Mr. Jensen recognized the articles found in the possession of Holley and Osborne as sume of those which had been taken from his store and the evidence against ! the thieves was therefore very strong, but as the list did not include all that is missing, it is believed there w ere others in the job.Osborne and Holley were taken before Justice Henderson this morning and waiving examination they were sent to the county jail under heavy bond.S.--------- , + » -------------
