Young America No. 5,—Parade.This gallant corps of young men were on parade Saturday evening, with their fine new Engine. Two streams of water were thrown overthe highest buildings with perfect ease. At the close of the parade, the corps were invited to asumptuous repast by Mr. Cook, of Cook’s Hotel.Mr. J. L. Morton, the Chief of tho Fire Department, introduced, with a few remark?, Mr. Frank Bloom, of Macon, the head of the Department in that city. Mr. Bloom made a short, but happy speech. Mr Thomas Barnard, foreman of No 5,then returned thanks to Mr. Cook for the collation. After which Young America returned totheir Engine House, giving three cheers ty i\Ir. Cook.
